Softball Recap: York Falcons vs. Grafton Clippers
York hadn't done well against Grafton recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Falcons put the hurt on the Clippers with a sharp 10-2 victory. This was payback for the Falcons, who suffered a 12-5 loss the last time these two teams met.
Sarah Witt made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She tossed seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off ten hits. Witt was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and one RBI.

In other batting news, Leslee Maldonado was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three stolen bases, three runs, and one triple. Maldonado is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: she's snagged at least one every time she's taken the field this season. Karley Estrada was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one triple and two RBI.
York kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least 12 hits in three consecutive matches.
