Baseball Recap: Countryside Continues Road Dominance on Tuesday

With a playoff win on the line, Countryside rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Seminole Warhawks 3-2. Surprisingly, this marked the Cougars' third straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

The team relied heavily on Braeden Callahan, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. Luke Neubauer was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two runs.

Countryside's victory was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 20-8. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Seminole, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 21-8.
