Soddy Daisy has gone 9-1 against Hixson recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Soddy Daisy Trojans are headed away from home for the first time to take on the Hixson Wildcats at 7:00 p.m.

Soddy Daisy is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to ten runs on Monday, they were much more limited against McMinn County on Friday. They took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cherokees. The Trojans haven't had much luck with the Cherokees recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Soddy Daisy saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cooper Poe, who went 3-for-4 with two RBI. Brayden Maynor was another, getting on base in two of his three plate appearances with two stolen bases.

Meanwhile, Hixson never let their opponents score on Saturday. They blew past Grundy County 7-0.

Hixson's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Soddy Daisy, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Soddy Daisy took their victory against Hixson in their previous matchup back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 13-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for Soddy Daisy since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
