Volleyball Recap: Troy Christian Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After flying high against Northridge last Thursday, Troy Christian came back down to earth. The Eagles fell just short of the Lehman Catholic Cavaliers by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Cavaliers: they've now lost eight in a row.

Troy Christian took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 27-29, 18-25, 25-18, 15-9.

Nora Inman paced Troy Christian's offense, picking up 14 kills. Inman got some help from Taylor Bechtol and her 36 assists. Inman also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Avery Austin, each putting up three.

Among those leading the charge was Lilly Graham, who had ten digs and two aces. What's more, she posted three assists, the most she's had since back in September.

Troy Christian's loss dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Lehman Catholic, their victory ended a four-match drought at home and bumped them up to 9-11.

Troy Christian has already played their next match, a 3-2 defeat against Bethel on the 9th. As for Lehman Catholic, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Northridge on the 9th.
