Mariposa County extended their winning streak to six on Friday, bumping their season record up to 12-6 in the process. They were the clear victors by a 15-1 margin over the Gustine Reds. The Grizzlies might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight games by ten runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on Heely Patterson, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more stolen bases the last three times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Kylee Hutchings, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.

Mariposa County always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .607. They are a perfect 7-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

As for Gustine, their loss dropped their record down to 6-9. Having soared to a lofty 18 runs in the game before, they couldn't push the score so high this time.
