Volleyball Game Preview: Archbishop Mitty Monarchs vs. Valley Christian Warriors

The Archbishop Mitty Monarchs will take on the Valley Christian Warriors at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with Archbishop Mitty sitting on seven straight wins and Valley Christian on three.

Archbishop Mitty picked up another tournament win on Saturday. They came out on top against Homestead by a score of 2-0.

Meanwhile, Valley Christian beat Leigh 3-1 on Monday.

Valley Christian had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 25-27, 25-16, 25-16, 25-17.

Valley Christian now has a winning record of 12-11. As for Archbishop Mitty, their victory bumped their record up to 30-2.

Archbishop Mitty came out on top in a nail-biter against Valley Christian in their previous matchup back in March, sneaking past 3-2. Do the Monarchs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Warriors turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
