Basketball Recap: Richmond Hill Comes Up Short

Richmond Hill lost against Lane back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Richmond Hill Lions were dealt an 87-50 defeat at the hands of the Lane Knights. While losing is never fun, the Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 584th, while the Knights are ranked 105th).

Richmond Hill's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Lane, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-2 record this season.

Richmond Hill has already played their next contest (against Edison), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Lane will be playing in front of their home fans against Hillcrest at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
