Baseball Recap: Western Takes a Loss

Western was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost 12-2 to the IMG Academy Ascenders.

Western saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Keagan Pita, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one double.

Western's loss dropped their record down to 7-11. As for IMG Academy, their win was their 11th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-1.

Looking ahead, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Western Wildcats challenge Palmetto Tigers at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for IMG Academy, they will challenge St. John's at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. St. John's will roll in looking for their 11th straight victory, something IMG Academy surely won't give up without a fight.
