            Softball Recap: West Middlesex Big Reds vs. Sharpsville Blue Devils        
        
		
        
        
            West Middlesex couldn't beat Sharpsville  on Saturday even though they stacked five runs on them in the third inning. The Big Reds fell  13-8 to the Blue Devils. The Big Reds were not able to make up for their  defeat to the Blue Devils from their previous meeting  back in April of 2024.
 West Middlesex saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Harper Nickel, who  went 1-for-2 with three  RBI and one  double. That  double was  Nickel's first of the season.  Kadence Leonard was another,  going 2-for-4 with two  runs and one  stolen base.
West Middlesex dropped their record down to 4-4 with the  loss, which was their third straight  at home. As for Sharpsville, they now  have a winning record of 4-3.
 Coincidentally, West Middlesex and Sharpsville will both be playing Reynolds the next time they take the field. The Blue Devils will  host the Raiders at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday, while the Big Reds will head out to face them  at 4:15  p.m.  on Thursday.
