Softball Recap: Hesston Swathers vs. Larned Indians

Hesston waltzed into their matchup on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Larned Indians a 15-0 shutout. With that win, Hesston brought their scoring average up to 7.5 runs per game.

Brenlyn Richmond was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (she also didn't allow any walks). Richmond was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with five RBI, a triple, and a stolen base.
