Baseball Recap: Hudson's Bay Takes a Loss

Hudson's Bay made up a huge gap compared to their last game against R.A. Long, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Eagles fell just short of the Lumberjacks by a score of 9-7 on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Eagles have suffered since April 24, 2024.

Cam Nicklas and Tanner Koford did some serious damage despite the final result: Nicklas got on base in three of his four plate appearances with three stolen bases and two runs, while Koford got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Hudson's Bay has also been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season. As for R.A. Long, they pushed their record up to 11-7-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home.
