Softball Recap: Jefferson Comes Up Short

Jefferson lost against Lima Central Catholic back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Wildcats fell 10-7 to the Thunderbirds. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jefferson's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 13-8. As for Lima Central Catholic, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jefferson will venture away from home to take on Lincolnview at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lima Central Catholic, they will square off against Shawnee at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
