Hillsboro Christian Academy came tearing into Monday's game with seven straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 16.9 points) and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 37-26 victory over Milford Christian. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Crusaders also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2024.

Hillsboro Christian Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Emma Korte led the charge by dropping a double-double with 14 points and 16 boards. The dominant performance gave Korte a new career-high in points. Lisa Vanzant was another key player, putting up 16 points and four steals.

Hillsboro Christian Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 14 offensive boards in six consecutive matchups.

Hillsboro Christian Academy pushed their record up to 13-3 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 25.0 points over those games. As for Milford Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hillsboro Christian Academy will welcome Cincinnati at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Milford Christian will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Hillsboro Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on February 25th.
