Recap: John Carroll Catholic Cavaliers vs. Spain Park Jaguars
On Friday, John Carroll Catholic was beaten by Spain Park 54-5. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points John Carroll Catholic has scored all season.
Spain Park's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Nylah Calhoun, who scored 11 points along with five steals. Another player making a difference was Zyian Heyligar, who scored eight points along with six rebounds and three steals.
John Carroll Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Spain Park, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-13.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. John Carroll Catholic will face off against Fairfield at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Fairfield is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak. As for Spain Park, they will head out on the road to face off against Oak Mountain at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
