Softball Game Preview: Tipton-Rosemark Academy Rebels vs. Baylor Red Raiders

For the second straight game, Tipton-Rosemark Academy will face off against Baylor. The Rebels will challenge the Red Raiders at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Tipton-Rosemark Academy's hitters haven't had much luck over their past three games, but Saturday's match will give them a chance to turn things around.

Tipton-Rosemark Academy managed to slip by Baylor the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Rebels lost 14-2 to the Red Raiders on Friday.

Tipton-Rosemark Academy saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Peyton Sykes, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Baylor has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-9-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.8 runs over those games. As for Tipton-Rosemark Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 22-19-1.
