The First Academy Royals are taking a road trip to square off against the Jesuit Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The First Academy is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last five games.

At the plate, Remo Indomenico was a standout: he scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4. He has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last five times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Max Simmons, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-4.
The First Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .525. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Jupiter only posted an OBP of .296.
Meanwhile, Jesuit faced Stoneman Douglas in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. Jesuit fell 7-4 to Stoneman Douglas.
Jesuit also got a good showing from Hector Rivera, who tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. The dominant performance also gave Rivera a new career-high in strikeouts (five).
On the hitting side, Cannon Murtagh was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs while going 3-for-5. Another player making a difference was Kaden Waechter, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI.
The First Academy's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-3. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for Jesuit, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-5.
Jesuit's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: The First Academy hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .345.
