Soccer Recap: Jefferson Comes Up Short

Jefferson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. They came up short against the Woodside Wildcats, falling 6-0. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Grizzlies this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-1 back in January.

Jefferson's loss dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Woodside, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 8-7-1 record this season.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing San Mateo the next time they take the pitch. Woodside will head out to face San Mateo at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, while Jefferson will host them at 4:30 p.m. on February 7th.
