Manchester and Hall are an even 3-3 against one another since November of 2015, but not for long. The Red Hawks will take on the Titans at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Hall took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Manchester, who comes in off a win.
Manchester not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since October 17, 2024 (when they won 54-18). They put the hurt on Conard with a sharp 34-14 victory. The Red Hawks haven't had any issues with the Red Wolves recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.
Manchester got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Jeremiah Pinckney out in front who rushed for 141 yards and one score on only 12 carries. Ayden Rodriguez was another key rusher, rushing for 102 yards and a pair of touchdowns.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Manchester was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 291 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since the start of last season.
On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Manchester's defense and their three sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: D'Andre Thames, Dallas Davis, and Korii Johnson, who each picked up one sack apiece.
Meanwhile, Hall was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 27-7 to Glastonbury. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Titans have suffered against the Guardians since September 11, 2015.
Hall's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Manchester, their win bumped their record up to an identical 2-5.
Manchester was able to grind out a solid victory over Hall in their previous matchup back in September of 2024, winning 21-14. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Red Hawks since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
