Baseball Recap: Redington Comes Up Short

Redington lost against Kenai Central back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Huskies lost 15-2 to the Kardinals. The Huskies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Redington saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ikaia Flores, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

Redington now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Kenai Central, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Redington is set to challenge their familiar foe Grace Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Kenai Central will face off against rival Palmer at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
