Preview: Superior Collegiate vs. First Baptist Academy
Given their disadvantage in the MaxPreps state rankings, First Baptist Academy should expect quite the challenge on Friday. They will take on Superior Collegiate .
After a dominant win in their game two weeks ago, First Baptist Academy were humbled last Thursday. They took a 27-39 hit to the loss column at the hands of Cardinal Mooney. Despite the defeat, First Baptist Academy saw an underclassman step up: Sophomore Brady Dean passed for 162 yards and 3 touchdowns. In fact, with ten tackles Edie was a force on both sides of the ball.
Meanwhile, Superior Collegiate took a serious blow against IMG Academy, falling 0-49. This makes it the second loss in a row for Superior Collegiate.
With the two teams each stumbling in off of a defeat, both will be hungry for the victory. We'll see which team satisfies their hunger and which team leaves with an empty stomach.
