Lawrence is 7-1 against Oceanside since April of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. If Lawrence beats Oceanside with three runs on Tuesday, it's going to be the squad's new lucky number: they've won their past two matches with that exact score. The Bulldogs beat Gardiner on Thursday by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 3-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bulldogs.

Meanwhile, Oceanside didn't have quite enough to beat Waterville on Thursday and fell 4-2. The Mariners have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Oceanside's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Lawrence, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Lawrence skirted past Oceanside 3-1 when the teams last played on Wednesday. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
