North Shelby waltzed into their matchup on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 44-32 win over the Canton Tigers. This was payback for the Raiders, who suffered a 63-38 loss the last time these two teams met.

North Shelby is also on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. As for Canton, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Shelby will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Novinger at 6:00 p.m. on February 3rd. Canton also won't see the court for a while: their next game is against Hamilton/Warsaw at 6:00 p.m. on January 27th.
