Baseball Recap: Harriton Takes a Loss

Harriton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 12-2 to the Oxford Hornets.

Harriton saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Calvin Costello, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Harriton's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Oxford, their victory was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0.

Looking ahead, Harriton will host Penncrest at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Oxford, they will head out to square off against Kennett at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday. The contest will give Kennett their first taste of in-conferenceaction this season.
