            Softball Recap: Cleveland Warriors vs. Franklin Quakers        
        
		
        
        
            Cleveland won the last time they faced Franklin and things went their way  on Friday too. The Warriors came out on top against the Quakers by a score of  7-2. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for the Warriors.

 Jillian Lee made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She  didn't allow a single  earned run while striking out eight over 6.2 innings pitched. That's the most  strikeouts  she has posted since back in May of 2024. She was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-3 with one  triple, one  stolen base,  and one  run.
 In other batting news, Cleveland let  Kailen Steffek and  Vivian Schroedel run wild. Steffek  went 2-for-3 with two  stolen bases and three  RBI, while  Schroedel  scored three  runs and  stole a base while  getting on base  in all four of her plate appearances. That's the most  stolen bases  Steffek has posted since back in March of 2024. Another player making a difference was  Sara Cass, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-3.
Cleveland's win bumped their record up to 3-8. As for Franklin, their loss was  their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which  dropped their record down to 3-6.
 We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Cleveland is set to  square off against  their familiar foe Ida B. Wells  at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Franklin will  face off against  rival Roosevelt  at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
