Baseball Game Preview: Red Land Patriots vs. Lower Dauphin Falcons

The Red Land Patriots will head out to take on the Lower Dauphin Falcons at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Neither Red Land nor Lower Dauphin posted many runs in their last games, so it might be the pitching crews that decide this one.

Red Land fell victim to Palmyra and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 1-0. The Patriots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Red Land saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Austin Michelsen, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Meanwhile, Lower Dauphin wound up with the same score they had in their last game (3-2), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time. They haven't had much luck with the Warriors recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Red Land's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Lower Dauphin, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-3.

Red Land suffered a grim 12-3 defeat to Lower Dauphin in their previous matchup back in March. Can the Patriots avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
