Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Austin Prep). They were the clear victors by a 12-5 margin over the Greens Farms Academy Dragons on Saturday. The Cougars not only won on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since May 15, 2024 (when they won 21-6).

Austin Prep's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-5. As for Greens Farms Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Austin Prep will challenge Winsor at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Greens Farms Academy, they will take on Hamden Hall Country Day at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Dragons' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Hornets have averaged an impressive 6.7 runs per game this season.
