Basketball Recap: Springfield's Win Ends Four-Game Losing Streak at Home

Springfield's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They enjoyed a cozy 46-31 win over the Bellows Falls Terriers. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Cosmos as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Bellows Falls lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Olivia Hallock, who posted 12 points. Another player making a difference was Laura Kamel, who scored four points and eight rebounds.

Springfield's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-8. As for Bellows Falls, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Springfield has already played their next game (against Otter Valley), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Bellows Falls will square off against Woodstock at 7:00 p.m. on February 10th.
