Basketball Recap: Hoxie Comes Up Short

Hoxie was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They were outmatched by the Osceola Seminoles and fell 66-18. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mustangs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 52-19 on January 6th.

Hoxie's loss dropped their record down to 2-19. As for Osceola, their victory ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-12.

Hoxie will welcome Newport at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Osceola, they are taking a road trip to take on Rivercrest at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
