The Bluegrass United Bluehawks can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They secured a 74-70 W over Thomas Nelson. The victory was just what Bluegrass United needed coming off of a 67-47 loss in their prior match.
Bluegrass United's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Caleb Burnett, who scored 26 points along with five assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Jeremiah Stiefel, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds.
The win got Bluegrass United back to even at 12-12. As for Thomas Nelson, they dropped their record down to 2-15 with that defeat, which was their third straight at home.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bluegrass United is on the road again on Thursday and plays the Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. on February 1st. As for Thomas Nelson, they will take on the Cougars at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
