Basketball Recap: Cross Roads Extends Winning Streak to Three

Cross Roads waltzed into their match on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 43-40 victory over the Cayuga Wildcats. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bobcats also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2024.

Cross Roads' win bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Cayuga, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 14-8.

Cross Roads will square off against LaPoynor at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Cayuga, they will venture away from home to square off against Frankston at 1:30 p.m. on Friday. Frankston has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.
