Volleyball Recap: Devine Takes a Loss

Devine lost against Columbus back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Warhorses / Arabians took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cardinals. The Warhorses / Arabians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While Devine ultimately came up short, they really made Columbus work, particularly in the second set. The final score came out to 25-11, 26-24.

Aimee Carr paced Devine's offense, picking up eight kills. Carr got some help from Emma Mciver and her seven assists.

Devine's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Columbus, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Devine has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Round Top-Carmine on the 15th. As for Columbus, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Weimar on the 15th.
