Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Eliana Ramsey and Kylie Moss Lead Wilson Central to Victory

There's no place like home for Wilson Central, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They came out on top against the Smyrna Bulldogs by a score of 47-39 on Friday. The win was some much needed relief for the Wildcats as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Wilson Central was led to victory by Kylie Moss and Eliana Ramsey. Moss dropped a double-double on 17 points and 15 rebounds, while Ramsey went 5 for 12 en route to 20 points along with six boards and four steals. What's more, Moss also racked up eight steals, the most she's had since back in November of 2024.

Wilson Central's victory bumped their record up to 10-11. As for Smyrna, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-8.

Wilson Central and Smyrna could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Tennessee Rankings. Wilson Central (ranked 135th) will meet Cookeville (ranked 11th) at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Similarly, Smyrna will challenge Stewarts Creek at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday down 212 places (278 vs. 66).
