Baseball Game Preview: Tidewater Academy Warriors vs. Brunswick Academy Vikings

The Tidewater Academy Warriors are taking a road trip to square off against the Brunswick Academy Vikings at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Tidewater Academy fell victim to Kenston Forest and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Kavaliers, falling 14-0. The Warriors have struggled against the Kavaliers recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost meetings.

Meanwhile, Brunswick Academy came up short against Southampton Academy on Thursday and fell 9-4.

Brunswick Academy saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nathan Wells, who went 2-for-4 with one triple and one run. That triple marked the first that Wells hit this season. Nathan Talbert was another, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one RBI.

Tidewater Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Brunswick Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Tidewater Academy might still be hurting after the 20-4 defeat they got from Brunswick Academy in their previous meeting back in April of 2023. Can Tidewater Academy avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
