It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Hurricane had no problem doing just that on Friday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 77-49 victory over the Capital Cougars. The Redskins not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since January 23rd.

Hurricane was led to victory by Alex Anderson and Kendall Anderson. Alex shot 57% from the field on her way to 24 points, while Kendall went 8-for-13 to rack up 16 points along with seven assists and six steals. That's the most steals Kendall has posted since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Gabby Quijano, who had ten points.

Hurricane's win bumped their record up to 17-6. As for Capital, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 8-13 record.

Hurricane wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 64-49 loss against Parkersburg on the 4th. Capital does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
