Baseball Game Preview: Hamilton Yankees vs. Los Angeles CES Unicorns

The Hamilton Yankees will challenge the Los Angeles CES Unicorns at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Hamilton had taken University down for three straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Wednesday. The Yankees fell 4-1 to the Wildcats.

Palisades hit Los Angeles CES with a four-run second inning on Wednesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Unicorns lost 11-1 to the Dolphins. The Unicorns have struggled against the Dolphins recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Los Angeles CES saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cai Bloom-Furedi, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Los Angeles CES' loss dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Hamilton, they dropped their record down to 10-11 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

Hamilton couldn't quite get it done against Los Angeles CES in their previous meeting back in March as they fell 10-5. Can the Yankees avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
