Volleyball Recap: Crawford Takes a Loss

Crawford lost against San Ysidro two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Colts lost 3-0 to the Cougars. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Colts haven't been shut out since back in March.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-17, 25-14.

Eh Leh Ber Brown paced Crawford's offense, picking up six kills. Brown got some help from Adolfo Ventura and his nine assists. Randy Thorne controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

This is the second loss in a row for Crawford and nudges their season record down to 16-7. As for San Ysidro, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 20-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Crawford will face off against Point Loma at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for San Ysidro, they will square off against Castle Park at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
