Basketball Recap: Meridian Takes a Loss

If Meridian was riding high fresh off their 51-16 takedown of Oak Harbor last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Meridian Trojans were dealt a 69-20 loss at the hands of the Lynden Lions on Tuesday. The matchup marked the Trojans' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meridian's defeat dropped their record down to 10-5. As for Lynden, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 16-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Meridian has already played their next game (against Lakewood), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Lynden is taking a road trip to take on Mt. Baker at 7:15 p.m. on Monday.
