The Wolfson Wolfpack will face off against the Stanton Blue Devils at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Wolfson is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.5 runs per game this season.

On Friday, Wolfson didn't have quite enough to beat Yulee and fell 5-4.

Wolfson got a good showing from Ryan Rhoden, who tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits.

At the plate, Nick Fischer was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-4. What's more, he posted two hits, the most he's had since back in April of 2024. Samuel Sprague also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Stanton, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They came out on top against ED White by a score of 8-4 on Thursday.

Stanton pushed their record up to 5-3 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.9 runs on average over those games. As for Wolfson, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.

Everything went Wolfson's way against Stanton in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as Wolfson made off with a 10-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Wolfson since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
