Metamora is 10-0 against Dunlap since February of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. Metamora took a 55-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of Peoria on Tuesday. The match marked the Redbirds' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Meanwhile, Dunlap suffered their biggest defeat since November 29, 2024 on Saturday. They were beaten by Morton 77-42. The loss continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Potters: they've now lost three in a row.

Metamora's defeat ended a 14-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 16-4. As for Dunlap, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-10.

Metamora strolled past Dunlap in their previous meeting back in February of 2024 by a score of 69-50. Will Metamora repeat their success, or does Dunlap have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
