Football Recap: Lost River Piles Up the Points Against Oakland + How To Watch

Lost River faced Oakland in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Raiders claimed a resounding 42-6 win over the Oakers. That looming 42-6 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Raiders yet this season.

Eugene Dunlea had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 169 yards and a pair of scores on only 13 carries, and also picked up 63 receiving yards. Kyle Diaz was another key player, throwing for 155 yards and two touchdowns while completing 71.4% of his passes.

Lost River's victory was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-1. The home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 47.2 points over those games. As for Oakland, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Looking ahead, Lost River is taking a road trip to square off against Culver at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bulldogs' defense has only allowed 10.8 points per game this season, so the Raiders' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Oakland, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Gold Beach at 7:00 p.m. on October 10.
