Soccer Game Preview: New Hampstead vs. Perry

New Hampstead is 0-3 against Perry since April of 2024 but things could change on Friday. The Phoenix will take on the Panthers at 5:00 p.m. The match will give New Hampstead their first taste of in-conference action this season.

New Hampstead lost 4-1 to Jenkins on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Perry kept a clean sheet against Wayne County on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Yellow Jackets. The win continues a trend for Perry in their matchups with Wayne County: they've now won three in a row.

The victory got Perry back to even at 3-3. As for New Hampstead, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.

New Hampstead suffered a grim 7-0 defeat to Perry when the teams last played back in March of 2025. Can the Phoenix avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
