Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Jackson Christian). Everything went their way against the University School of Jackson Bruins on Tuesday as they made off with a 15-2 victory. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won four matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Jackson Christian saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was JT Mullins, who scored two runs while going 1-for-5.

The win (which was Jackson Christian's fifth in a row) raised their record to 10-3. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for University School of Jackson, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. We've got a battle between Eagles coming up. Jackson Christian will need to watch out since Chester County has now posted at least ten runs in their last three games. As for University School of Jackson, they will welcome Peabody at 7:20 p.m. on Thursday.
