Baseball Recap: River City Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for River City's offense. They came up short against the Bradshaw Christian Pride on Friday, falling 10-0. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Raiders were not able to get on the board.

River City saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Noah Carrington, who went 2-for-3 with one double.

River City's loss dropped their record down to 16-10. As for Bradshaw Christian, they pushed their record up to 20-2 with the win, which was their 25th straight at home dating back to last season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. River City will challenge Christian Brothers at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Falcons' pitching crew has only allowed three runs per game this season, so the Raiders' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Bradshaw Christian, they will face off against Argonaut at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
