Volleyball Recap: Serena Finds Home Court Redemption Against Earlville

There's no place like home for Serena, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Earlville Red Raiders on Wednesday. The victory continues a trend for the Huskers in their matchups with the Red Raiders: they've now won three in a row.

Serena easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-11.

Serena can attribute much of their success to Aubrey Duffy, who had 17 digs. Those 17 digs gave Duffy a new career-high. Brynley Glade also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Serena's win bumped their record up to 13-6-1. As for Earlville, their loss dropped their record down to 13-12.

Serena wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Somonauk on the 10th. As for Earlville, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Illinois Math & Science Academy on the 10th.
