Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Dakota Valley). They came out on top against the Beresford Watchdogs by a score of 13-8 on Saturday. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Watchdogs recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Dakota Valley's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Beresford, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Dakota Valley is set to challenge their familiar foe Vermillion at 10:30 a.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Beresford will face off against rival Lennox at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
