Recap: Eastmoor Academy Warriors vs. West Cowboys
The Eastmoor Academy Warriors had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 76-68 win over West on Friday. The victory was just what Eastmoor Academy needed coming off of a 71-48 loss in their prior contest.
Eastmoor Academy got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was King Moody out in front who scored 11 points along with three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Gabriel Wooden, who scored 15 points along with five steals.
Eastmoor Academy's win ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-10. As for West, they dropped their record down to 7-9 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Eastmoor Academy will take on the 76ers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Independence is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. As for West, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
