Basketball Recap: Portage Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Edgewood, Portage was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They walked away with a 58-47 win over the Cambria-Friesland Hilltoppers.

Portage's victory bumped their record up to 5-19. As for Cambria-Friesland, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-15.

Coming up, Portage will welcome Stoughton at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Stoughton knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past six contests -- so hopefully Portage likes a good challenge. As for Cambria-Friesland, they will head out on the road to challenge Rio at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
