Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Pasquotank County). They blew past the First Flight Nighthawks 56-0 on Friday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Panthers needed considering they were shut out in their previous game.

Pasquotank County was led to victory by Josiah Bennett and Tyshawn Spencer. Bennett threw for 205 yards and three TDs on only ten passes, while Spencer rushed for 64 yards and three touchdowns. Those three passing touchdowns gave Bennett a new career-high.

Another reason for the win was Pasquotank County's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for six sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Kenneth Mashall and Dylan Trotter, who racked up five sacks between them.

Pasquotank County pushed their record up to 6-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 1.5 points on average over those games. As for First Flight, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.
