Volleyball Recap: Make It Five in a Row for Green Hill

Green Hill had won four straight games and George Stevens did his part to make it five on Tuesday. The Hawks came out on top against the Page Patriots by a score of 2-0 with plenty of help from Stevens, who had eight kills, three aces, and one block. Stevens is crushing it when it comes to aces: he's served at least two every time he's taken the court this season.

Green Hill never let Page on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 26-24.

Green Hill got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Lucas Waller out in front who had six digs and two aces. Another player making a difference was Mason Bryan, who had seven kills and three digs.

Green Hill pushed their record up to 14-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. As for Page, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-5 record this season.

Green Hill does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Page, they will square off against LEAD Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
