Volleyball Recap: Hamilton Takes a Loss

After flying high against Borrego Springs last Thursday, Hamilton came back down to earth. The Bobcats lost 3-0 to the Cornerstone Christian Crusaders on Thursday. The Bobcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Crusaders apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2021.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-20, 25-11.

Evalina Hernandez paced Hamilton's offense, picking up three kills. Hernandez got some help from Laura Palma Vega and her four assists. Palma Vega was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Hamilton's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Cornerstone Christian, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-3.

Hamilton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Vincent Memorial on the 6th. As for Cornerstone Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against California Lutheran on the 8th.
